Rife Cancer Cure Rediscovered (audio)

Afterward he was approached by his old orchestra teacher, who had something way out of the box -- a theory that he could destroy cancer cells without harming normal cells with sound waves, like an opera singer shattering glass.

Prologue: Host Ira Glass talks with science writer Paul Hoffman about a mathematician named Frank Nelson Cole, who demonstrated a groundbreaking idea at a conference in 1903. Paul explains that in addition to their celebrated breakthroughs, many of the greatest thinkers in history have entertained some very crazy ideas. Paul is the author of many books including The Man Who Loved Only Numbers, and is director of the Liberty Science Center in New Jersey.

Act One: Mr. Holland's Opus

One day a successful cancer researcher named Jonathan Brody gave a talk at his alma mater, about how people in his field need to think outside the box if they're going to find a cure. Afterward Jonathan's old music teacher Anthony Holland shared an idea that was way out of the box: Killing cancer cells with sound waves. Gabriel Rhodes tells what happened next. Gabriel is also working on a documentary film version of this story, called The Cure.

"Morality Without God" (video)

Amber Dorrian, Seven, Nguyen (Wisdom Quarterly); art by Mystic Politics
()

Atheists often hear the question, "How can you be moral without God?" The real question is, "How can a moral person accept God?" If Judeo-Christian scriptures are true, "God" is a terrible example of morality or basic goodness.

The "God" Idea
Wisdom Quarterly
Of course, this behavior makes more sense when those scriptures are read more carefully and not limited to Christian and Jewish traditions: "God" is always plural and referring to entities from space claiming dominion, or claiming to have "created" (genetically manipulated) the human race and animals, terra-forming the Earth, making the stars, keeping the Sun alight...

Ancient Indus River Valley Civilization information (now embodied in Hinduism's Vedas), Sumerian and Egyptian texts, and channeled communications all point to many visitors over many aeons. Buddhism inherited ancient "Indian" and Central Asian (Near Eastern) traditions, and the same themes are present often with more detail.

Recovered Nag Hammadi Library (Gnostic Gospels) and Dead Sea Scroll texts, however, means one need not go too far afield to begin to understand that the world has been misled about the meaning of "God." And each theistic tradition simply claims, not the physical actors who reveal themselves on Earth in "chariots of fire" from time to time, but the ONE, godhead, non-duality, oneness, Brahman, unity, matrix, the enduring reality behind the illusion of the universe.

Why would one nation impose its imperial will while claiming to be helping and serving a biblical character? Probably because its population buys this story war after war.

We can safely say that that ONE is not doing all of this killing, warring, razing, raping, boasting, and acting all enraged all the time. Let us follow our hearts and keep our heads. We are responsible for ourselves -- everyone, even "God" -- so it is best to tune in rather than drop out. Our karma, choices, pernicious beliefs, and efforts are our own. We can share them with others, but their karma, choices, beliefs, and efforts are their own.

While we can certainly help each other, no one can save another. Famous spiritual teachers made great efforts to help, not to do everything for us. We are responsible for our greed/bias, hate/fear, and delusion/wrong views; we will bear the results of actions motivated by them.

It is our job to love, to be just, to be peaceful, to be kind, and help one another. Whatever tradition it pleases one to adopt, the bottom line is asking, Is this helping? Living in a religiously oppressive society can make atheism, "science," Satanism (whatever we may conceive of as the Dark Side), or even materialism/hedonism seem like a very attractive option. And it leads us to co-create the world we personally live in.

Occupy Wall Street: Snow on American Fall

A member of the Occupy Wall Street movement looks for tent in Zuccotti Park as the first winter snow falls in New York, Oct. 29, 2011 (Lucas Jackson/Reuters).
() The movement began in on a glorious mid-September Saturday and, so far, many of its larger marches have taken place in the warmth of 's Indian summer. But winter has been looming, and on Saturday, just a couple days before Halloween, the protesters got a preview of what they're in for. More

The Peace to Come (video)

Pat Macpherson, Amber Dorrian (Wisdom Quarterly)
WARNING: Graphic images of police rioting and gratuitous use of the F word.

Before a lasting peace there may be a crack down on occupiers, dissidents, and anyone daring to complain about the unfair economic system we live under. But it is nothing new in a corporate welfare state where hypocrisy is the name of the game.

Wouldn't it be nice if capitalism actually worked and the magic of the marketplace solved everything? It doesn't even get a chance to. Libertarians think regulation is the problem. Liberals know that nothing works without some unbiased third party upholding the rules.

Government is supposed to be that party. But they have sold out the people to highest bidder. We know neither party is interested in changing anything. Both parties thrive on this system.

Give me Dennis Kucinich, give me Tzipi Livni (it's not as if she's any less qualified to run than the last two presidents and Israeli already exerts undue influence on our electoral process), give me Maxine Waters, give me Ron Paul, give me Jesse Ventura, I think most of us might settle for Palin-protege Joe the Plumber at this point.

For whosoever becomes the face of The Machine (without actually wielding any decision-making power but simply reading the teleprompter), our question is the same: "Do they owe us a living?"

Netanyahu bullies eager US Congress
RevolutionNews.US
CODEPINK activist Rae Abileah was arrested at the George Washington Univ. Hospital in D.C. after heckling the Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu. The 28-year-old Jewish American woman was allegedly tackled by members of the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) during Netanyahu's speech to Congress after she yelled, "STOP ISRAELI WAR CRIMES!" Abileah was taken to the George Washington University Hospital, where she was being treating for neck and shoulder injuries. Speaking from her hospital bed, she said she was in "great pain" but that it was nothing "compared to the pain and suffering that Palestinians go through on a regular basis." More

Collective Collapse and the End of Time

2012 AND BEYOND
Never before have so many peoples, cultures, religions (and their monuments and messages) been brought together in a chorus of wisdom, enlightenment, and ascension. Aztecs, Buddhists (Morton claims to have lived and trained with Nepalese Buddhists in the Tibetan Vajrayana tradition), Egyptians, Mayans, and the Bible all converge in a grand concordance of information. Their collective message speaks of “fantastic and amazing changes” in the way(s) we think and live. As we move through a “stargate” in this “Age of Wonders,” there is peril and potential.

Comets, Crop Circles,
Collective Collapse, and the End of Time
Sean David Morton's message (Wisdom Quarterly)
We are hurtling into the winds of a perfect storm. Astronomical [and astrological], economic, cometary, and Mayan calendar alignments could either doom us all or elevate us into a fabulous new way of living.

But the super technology of a small global elite (a Shadow Government composed of bankers, industry, corporate entities, paid scientists, and secret military that rules over our elected government) has triggered massive Earth changes.
This shadowy force has altered the physical and magnetic poles of the Earth. Given its choice (and taking into consideration the unrecognized effects of exopolitics), will we be saved from certain doom or reduced in number to 500 million people?

The world financial crisis is not accidental.

We must explore predictions about solar cycles, Elenin, the Red Star Kachina, and stunning new discoveries relating to the 2012 alignment of the Great Pyramids of Giza. More comets are coming at us. Crop circles have predictions embedded in them.

NO PREDICTION HAS TO COME TRUE. "Prediction" (or "prophecy" in the sense Gregg Braden uses it) is about potential events and doing something to choose another way.

Exopolitics deals with the biggest secret of all.

The end of TIME is not the end of the world, just the world as we know it. We soon come to the end of an age. We may already be there. Social and cultural change do not happen overnight.
  • The way we live our lives depends on us. More greed, hatred/fear, delusion? Or mutual caring, peace, and wisdom?

Sean David Morton is a seer, researcher, and author. His stunning predictions brought him international recognition as America's premiere futurist. A pioneer in remote viewing, referred to by Art Bell as "America's Prophet,” he is an award-winning independent filmmaker. He has appeared on countless TV and radio shows. His startling visions, intensity of presentation, and sense of humor make him a popular speaker. He is tireless in his quest to bring light and media attention to the paranormal and to help bring about the ascension of humankind. He is the author of Veil of the Anti-Christ and Sands of Time.

Karma Police: Protesting in 1984 vs. 2011 (video)

Wisdom Quarterly

(Against Apathy Blog, video by Earley15, "Karma Police" by Radiohead) Occupy SF
History is very educational. If we learn from it, there is no need to repeat it. Some gods say there is nothing new under the Sun. And back in 1984, the hardest workers among the other 99 percent of the British population went on strike. How most people viewed the action depended on how the mainstream media portrayed it.

Those who saw it from the side of police and bankers (funding the police and politicians) sympathized with the right. But when images started to emerge from the side of the demonstrators, suddenly people could sympathize with striking coal miners. At least the miners had a job.
US citizens, dissidents, students, and rabble-rousers who are occupying Wall Street are usually sinking into debt with or without a job. When they protest, to begin with people blame them. But as time goes on, it becomes clear that society (the banking-credit-debt system) will be upheld by paramilitary forces (peace officers) brutalizing anyone standing up for civil rights, economic fairness, constitutional rights, equality, or even basic human rights.

() How does Wall Street feel about protests? Unidentified occupants watching from on high in balconies along Wall Street sip champagne and watch the show (Source).

What are the bankers up to as poorly paid blue collar police do the dirty work of holding white collar crime in place?

Buddhist translations and terms (video)

()

The self-described stream-enterer Jhananda (Jeffrey S. Brooks) speaks of the language of gnosis in English, Pali, and Sanskrit. In dialogue with Adam Murray, he links mystic Christian terms with Pali and Sanskrit Buddhist terms as distinct from Hindu terminology old and new.

The Dalai Lama (Vajrayana) recognizes different meanings.

They are speaking at the GWV Wilderness Retreat on the Verde River at Perkinsville, Arizona. The central terms covered are:

  • ekaggatha, one-pointedness
  • samadhi, concentration
  • jhana, ecstasy
Why is Wisdom Publications choosing to publish the translators and translations they choose? The emergence of Mahayana Buddhism and the translation of the Pali Canon into Sanskrit produced translation errors, and subtle errors in Buddhist philosophy stem from these mistakes.

Our Unnatural Line of Earthquakes

AboveTopSecret.com, Wisdom Quarterly

Few seem to have noticed that there is nothing "natural" about recent temblors, weather, and flooding disasters (abovetopsecret.com).

Tenpensdown often checks the earthquake.usgs.gov site for earthquake updates. And among others [on Coast to Coast] has noticed a strange pattern emerging since the East Coast quake that hit Washington, DC, NY, and Virginia. Add a red line across the unusual activity, and the unnatural linear pattern emerges. Add data points from an eight-day animation, and it appears there were even more earthquakes along this line marking quakes in different locations. Is this a common trend? The map above is updated frequently for anyone to check. Of course, no one will be surprised to discover that our shadowy government obscures patterns and distorts data when it finds them inconvenient. Source

Patterns? What patterns? It's only an "act of God."

Ethan Nichtern comes to Los Angeles (video)

(Mark Molaro) Inspiring interview with Ethan Nichtern, founder and director of the Interdependence Project (The ID Project) in New York City and author of the new book One City: A Declaration of Interdependence. This is a fascinating and personal discussion of Nichtern's idea of interdependence, as well as an enlightening conversation about Eastern philosophies in general, such as Buddhism and meditation. Nichtern talks about a strong worldwide desire for a new social consciousness that properly balances inner peace with informed civic and social engagement and responsibility.

Ancient American Archeology (Edgar Cayce)

A number of academic archaeology textbooks rudely dismiss [America's most famous psychic] Edgar Cayce’s pronouncements about ancient history. Cayce was, to them, a “cult archaeologist” -- unworthy of further investigation.

...Despite the claims of archaeologists, the history of ancient America put forth in Edgar Cayce’s readings has never been tested. Edgar Cayce, America’s famous “Sleeping Prophet,” gave 68 “psychic readings” between 1925 to 1944 that provided information on America’s Mound Builders and ancient American history.
These readings have never been thoroughly analyzed and have been largely forgotten. For the first time, Cayce’s statements about ancient America are genuinely compared to current archaeological evidence.

The authors relate that they began with a skeptical point of view but the weight of the evidence eventually showed Cayce’s accuracy. Incredibly, nearly everything Cayce related about the Mound Builders and the patterns of migrations to ancient America is true.

Since 1997, a series of astounding developments have shattered American archaeology’s most cherished beliefs. Excavations have uncovered solid evidence that ancient America was probably settled at least 50,000 years ago.

Genetic evidence shows that several waves of migrations came into America from not only Siberia, but also from Polynesia, China, and Japan.

A mysterious genetic type has been identified in ancient American skeletal remains as well as in some modern Native Americans. This enigmatic type is also linked to Israel, parts of Spain, France, Italy, and the northern Gobi Desert. It may well have originated in a location between America and Europe. This genetic type entered America in about 10,000 B.C. and could be the result of migrations from the mythical land of Atlantis.

Another genetic type could be from the mythical land of Mu. More

Deja View: Reincarnation, Rebirth, Nirvana

PasaDharma.org

Many of us have read books about Buddhism. But how can the actual teachings of the historic Shakyamuni Buddha bring us liberation from suffering?

Join PasaDharma's Roshi Jeff Albrizze to explore the Middle Path -- not as unattainable religious dogma but as a gateway to real happiness in everyday life. This talk will attempt to get at the real life questions many American Buddhists often contemplate as they become more familiar with the Dharma.
  • What is the difference between reincarnation, rebirth, and the "transmigration of the soul" according to the Buddha's teachings?
  • Why does it sometimes seem like "I've been here before"?
  • If I lead an evil life, will I be reborn as an dog or dog?
There will also be a question and answer period and a short meditation.

ROSHI JEFF ALBRIZZE: From Catholic altar boy, to traveling Pentecostal preacher, to part time Buddhist monk, Roshi Jeff's spiritual journey has led him down many paths. He has been practicing Zen Buddhism for 20 years. He has been leading PasaDharma Zen Meditation Group in Pasadena for 12 years.

Malcolm X: Our history destroyed by slavery

(AH) Malcolm X appears on the Chicago TV show "City Desk," March 17, 1963.

"My father didn't know his last name. My father got his last name from his grandfather, and his grandfather got it from his grandfather, who got it from the slavemaster. The real names of our people were destroyed during slavery. The last name of my forefathers was taken from them when they were brought to America and made slaves. And then the name of the slavemaster was given, which we refuse, we reject that name today and refuse it. I never acknowledge it whatsoever."
