Rife Cancer Cure Rediscovered (audio)

Afterward he was approached by his old orchestra teacher, who had something way out of the box -- a theory that he could destroy cancer cells without harming normal cells with sound waves, like an opera singer shattering glass.

Prologue: Host Ira Glass talks with science writer Paul Hoffman about a mathematician named Frank Nelson Cole, who demonstrated a groundbreaking idea at a conference in 1903. Paul explains that in addition to their celebrated breakthroughs, many of the greatest thinkers in history have entertained some very crazy ideas. Paul is the author of many books including The Man Who Loved Only Numbers, and is director of the Liberty Science Center in New Jersey.

Act One: Mr. Holland's Opus

One day a successful cancer researcher named Jonathan Brody gave a talk at his alma mater, about how people in his field need to think outside the box if they're going to find a cure. Afterward Jonathan's old music teacher Anthony Holland shared an idea that was way out of the box: Killing cancer cells with sound waves. Gabriel Rhodes tells what happened next. Gabriel is also working on a documentary film version of this story, called The Cure.

Right wing radio hosts Ken+Barbie at Occupy

Wisdom Quarterly
"Jackbooted thugs" (literally) with truncheons take over the peaceful streets of San Diego to dominate and put an end to freedom of speech, until it's convenient again.

Fun loving failed comedians and right wing shock jocks Ken and Klaus visited Occupy Los Angeles yesterday.

Libertarian KFI radio (640 AM) is the late night LA home of Coast to Coast, Jesus Christ (a real life extended South Park-style skit) on Sunday mornings, and Rush Limbaugh's rant fest. The station caters mainly to fearful conservatives.

But it does try to widen its scope -- anything for ratings. K&K also appear nightly on the local news (KTLA Channel 5). They visited the occupation, bringing along a what they estimated were a million listeners, to have a look for themselves. They have been prejudging and mocking the movement since it began. This was their effort to actually investigate.
Visiting Occupy LA
(LA Times) Conservative talk radio hosts John and Ken, who have mocked Occupy L.A, showed up Thursday with security guards to broadcast from the tent city demonstration outside of City Hall. The hosts, who have provoked controversy for their stances on illegal immigration among other things, arrived about 3:00 pm near 1st and Main Streets, near the large south lawn encampment. With the KFI-AM personalities were four private security guards in suits and six police officers. More

Refuge from Electromagnetic Pollution (EHS)

Wisdom Quarterly

Going for refuge never sounded so good! Buddhists do not actually go for "refuge" -- even though that is how the word sarana is commonly translated. They go for guidance on the path to enlightenment.

Where can anyone go to avoid being bombarded with cell phone tower emissions, HAARP array pulses, and synthetic electromagnetic energy in general? In the rolling hills of West Virginia, where one can also find the Bhavana Society, there is a refuge.

Tech refugees rush to mountains of West Virginia

DigitalJournal.com, BBC
Some Americans believe continuous electromagnetic radiation is making them physically ill. [Everyone agrees that it is making us ill in other ways.]

As many as five percent of Americans believe they suffer from Electromagnetic Hyper-Sensitivity (EHS). They say exposure to such devices like cell phones, wi-fi, and other electronic equipment is causing severe headaches, skin burning, muscle twitching, and chronic pain.

Diane Schou says she suffers from EHS: "My face turns red, I get a headache, my vision changes, and it hurts to THINK. Last time [I was exposed] I started getting chest pains -- and to me that's becoming life-threatening."

When Diane lived in Iowa, she believed her illness was triggered by emissions from a cell-phone mast [military-owned microwave tower]. She was even forced to live in a specially-adapted cage where electromagnetic radiation could not penetrate.

Her symptoms were so severe she was compelled to move to Green Bank, West Virginia -- a so-called "US Radio Quiet Zone" -- where wireless is prohibited across 13,000 sq miles (33,000 sq km) to prevent transmissions interfering with a number of radio telescopes in the area which listens for extra-terrestrial signals from different places in the universe, reports the BBC.

Some of the telescopes at Green Bank also serve the government's critical spy network, as reported on the National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) website. More

Happy Birthday, Columbus (video)

For the World to Live "Columbus" Must Die
Russell Means, Program #MEAR003, recorded in Denver, CO on April 27, 1992
LISTEN TO AUDIO. For too many of us, for too long, the indigenous peoples of this continent have been curiosities that existed somewhere over the horizon between fantasy and reality. The popularly crafted images were of medicine men [mostly women], squaws, peace pipes, teepees, tom toms, tomahawks, war bonnets, war paint, war whoops, and war parties. The only Indians we knew were named Tonto, Geronimo, and Crazy Horse. In recent years a lot of these cliches have disappeared. The American Indian Movement has done much to break down the conventional stereotypes. AIM articulates a program of self awareness and pride. It promotes treaty and land rights and religious freedom for Native Americans.
Russell Means, an Oglala Dakota and a prominent voice in the continuing struggle for indigenous rights, is a founding member of AIM and one of its leading spokespersons. He is Chief Executive Officer of the American Indian Anti-Defamation Council, an organization which monitors anti-Indian racism in the media and politics, and has organized and lectured throughout the world.

Another's hope, another's game
Another's loss, another's gain
Another's lies, another's truth
Another's doubt, another's proof
Another's left, another's right
Another's peace, another's fight
Another's name, another's aim
Another's fall, another's fame
Another's pride, another's shame
Another's love, another's pain
Another's hope, another's game
Another's loss, another's gain
Another's lies, another's truth...

Marx had an idea from the confusion of his head
Then there were a thousand more waiting to be led
The books are sold, the quotes are bought
You learn them well and then you're caught

Another's left, another's right
Another's peace, another's fight
Mussolini had ideas from the confusion of his heart
Then there were a thousand more waiting to play their part
The stage was set, the costumes worn
And another empire of destruction born
Another's name, another's aim
Another's fall, another's fame
Jung had an idea from the confusion of his dream
Then there were a thousand more waiting to be seen
You're not yourself, the theory says
But I can help, your complex pays

Another's hope, another's game
Another's loss, another's gain

Satre had an idea from the confusion of his brain
Then there were a thousand more indulging in his pain
Revelling in isolation and existential choice
Can you truly be alone when you use another's voice?

Another's lies, another's truth
Another's doubt, another's proof
The idea born in someone's mind
Is nurtured by a thousand blind
Anonymous beings, vacuous souls
Do you fear the confusion, your lack of control?
You lift your arm to write a name
So caught up in the identity game

Who do you see? Who do you watch?
Who's your leader? Which is your flock?
Who do you watch? Who do you watch?
Who's your leader? Which is your flock?
Einstein had an idea from the confusion of his knowledge
Then there were a thousand more turning to advantage
They realised that their god was dead
So they reclaimed power through the bomb instead
Anothers code, another's brain
They'll shower us all in deadly rain
Jesus had an idea from the confusion of his soul
Then there were a thousand more waiting to take control
The guilt is sold, forgiveness bought
The cross is there as your reward

Anothers love, another's pain
Anothers pride, another's shame
Do you watch at a distance from the side you have chosen?
Whose answers serve you best? Who'll save you from confusion?
Who will leave you an exit and a comfortable cover
Who will take you oh so near the edge, but never drop you over?
Who do you watch?

Collective Collapse and the End of Time

2012 AND BEYOND
Never before have so many peoples, cultures, religions (and their monuments and messages) been brought together in a chorus of wisdom, enlightenment, and ascension. Aztecs, Buddhists (Morton claims to have lived and trained with Nepalese Buddhists in the Tibetan Vajrayana tradition), Egyptians, Mayans, and the Bible all converge in a grand concordance of information. Their collective message speaks of “fantastic and amazing changes” in the way(s) we think and live. As we move through a “stargate” in this “Age of Wonders,” there is peril and potential.

Comets, Crop Circles,
Collective Collapse, and the End of Time
Sean David Morton's message (Wisdom Quarterly)
We are hurtling into the winds of a perfect storm. Astronomical [and astrological], economic, cometary, and Mayan calendar alignments could either doom us all or elevate us into a fabulous new way of living.

But the super technology of a small global elite (a Shadow Government composed of bankers, industry, corporate entities, paid scientists, and secret military that rules over our elected government) has triggered massive Earth changes.
This shadowy force has altered the physical and magnetic poles of the Earth. Given its choice (and taking into consideration the unrecognized effects of exopolitics), will we be saved from certain doom or reduced in number to 500 million people?

The world financial crisis is not accidental.

We must explore predictions about solar cycles, Elenin, the Red Star Kachina, and stunning new discoveries relating to the 2012 alignment of the Great Pyramids of Giza. More comets are coming at us. Crop circles have predictions embedded in them.

NO PREDICTION HAS TO COME TRUE. "Prediction" (or "prophecy" in the sense Gregg Braden uses it) is about potential events and doing something to choose another way.

Exopolitics deals with the biggest secret of all.

The end of TIME is not the end of the world, just the world as we know it. We soon come to the end of an age. We may already be there. Social and cultural change do not happen overnight.
  • The way we live our lives depends on us. More greed, hatred/fear, delusion? Or mutual caring, peace, and wisdom?

Sean David Morton is a seer, researcher, and author. His stunning predictions brought him international recognition as America's premiere futurist. A pioneer in remote viewing, referred to by Art Bell as "America's Prophet,” he is an award-winning independent filmmaker. He has appeared on countless TV and radio shows. His startling visions, intensity of presentation, and sense of humor make him a popular speaker. He is tireless in his quest to bring light and media attention to the paranormal and to help bring about the ascension of humankind. He is the author of Veil of the Anti-Christ and Sands of Time.

Building the World's Largest Buddha (Bhutan)

Wisdom Quarterly
(michaelfoleyphotography/flickr.com)

The largest Buddha in antiquity was perhaps in Afghanistan, at Bamiyan. It was destroyed by Taliban vandals. Other enormous statues of the Buddha, possibly larger and in the supine position, were also discovered in Afghanistan. Ancient artisans of the area (Central Asia), where Siddhartha may have grown up far from Nepal, often portray the Buddha-to-come, Maitreya, rather than the historical Buddha Gautama welcoming him with great monuments. Maitreya is a favorite of Vajrayana and Mahayana Buddhism. The new Bhutanese Buddha in the capital of Thimphu rivals the great rock-hewn statue at Leshan, Sichuan, China and other enormous statuary.

()

This is a tiny glimpse of what is purported to be the world's largest Buddha, high above Thimphu Valley, Bhutan -- which until recently was the last Himalayan Buddhist kingdom (before the king unilaterally converted to democracy), from the author of Radio Shangri-La: What I Learned in Bhutan, the Happiest Kingdom on Earth.

But the Rapture DID Happen (video)

Wisdom Quarterly
Camping speaks to media after failed prediction. Insists the Rapture did happen. Doomsday still on schedule for October (IBNTimes).

News outlets are misquoting and mischaracterizing failed Christian prophet Harold Camping. He said "Judgment Day" would be May 21, 2011. And it was, Camping insists. It's just that it was "spiritual" rather than physical. If people are committing suicide, that's their business.

We are therefore currently living through the tribulation. Doomsday will occur in October. The world was never going to end in May; it was always predicted by Camping to end in October. So...no refunds! Take your complaints to God. Donations will not be returned, period:

Camping, the president of FamilyRadio.com, said he will not return any money for those who have invested in the Doomsday campaign, despite the fact that his prediction has [apparently] failed. Family Radio has raised over $80 million of donations over the past five years. God is good that way. More

The End is Near; Heaven is Nearer (cartoon)

Will we end up in one of the many heavens?WATCH: "The Most Adequate X-mas Ever"

Fundamentalist Christians (FamilyRadio.com) researching and interpreting the Judeo-Christian Bible determined that we have been in the End Times for quite some time.

And the exact date of "Judgment Day" is May 21, 2011 "guaranteed."
Social psychologists have studied doomsday cults particularly before and after a definite prediction of doom. The remarkable and consistent finding is that failure strengthens rather than destroying them.

Why did the world not end when it "should" have? Could it have been something we did? Was it our prayers? Did we awaken people by bringing their attention to the impending end which is yet to come?

The fact of the matter is, this is not the first end, nor will it be the last. The end is always near. Each individual will face it. But we look for it collectively. The CIA/Shadow Government will oblige us with a simulated Space Invasion, a Second Coming, or some such calamity that will bring us into the (Brave) New World Order of full-spectrum control, conformity, and a precipitous population "adjustment"?

The Many Buddhist Heavens

A Thai Buddhist temple emulating one of the many "mansions" (vimanas) in the many planes of heaven or "space" (Stuck in Customs/Flickr.com)

In Buddhist cosmology, Sakka (Sakra, Indra, Rudra) is the "King of Kings," "Lord of Lords," and the "son-of-god" (Sanskrit, devaputra or "a being born among devas").

He threw out the "demons" (asuras or "titans") when he was reborn as lord among the deva-lords of the Heaven of the Thirty-Three (Tavatimsa). He is king of the lesser Four Great Kings of the heavenly plane (divided into cardinal quadrants) immediately above the Earth.

He was once a human or "son of man" but was reborn among the "gods" (devas) and so is referred to as a "son of god." Change the "a" to a "the," and there we have the Eastern philosophical rudiments of Christianity.

It's no accident that this ancient pre-Buddhist cosmology/mythology was appropriated by early Christians as the great "wisdom of the East" along with the teaching of how to be "born again" into that heaven -- karma or "reaping what is sown."

  • Judgment Day! (May 21, 2011?) "There are three things that cannot be kept hidden: the Sun, the Moon, and the Truth" - the Buddha.

There will be a tomorrow. And many days after that. The [updated, added to, edited, retranslated] Christian Bible now teaches that one day true believers elected by God to receive salvation [not redeemed by their own actions?] will be raptured (taken up) out of this world to meet the sky-God in the air and forever be with the Lord:
  • "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord" (1 Thessalonians 4:16,17).

The "Empire of Illusion" (Chris Hedges)

Chris Hedges recently visited Berkeley and Pasadena (Buy)

The author of World As It Is: Dispatches on the Myth of Human Progress, Hedges is one of the most creative American writers today. He is a columnist on Truthdig. His latest book is important because it represents a truly prophetic vision of where we are headed.

He points out many malevolent aspects of today's modern world system and the need to confront them. He is somewhat pessimistic about prospects for reform in the Democratic party. As a New York Times reporter in the Middle East and Bosnia, he saw the fury of holy war first hand. His unique insight into the world is striking: As things collapse, the misuse of religion will be a major factor.

His book on the religious right, American Fascists: The Christian Right and the War on America, is revealing. But the failure of the pseudo-liberal establishment in America, Death of the Liberal Class, is also insightful. He is a rare voice of integrity in our times.

The Bible Undone: "Divinity of Doubt" (video)

Wisdom Quarterly featuring Uprising Radio (KPFK, Pacifica, Los Angeles)
Imagine reading the Bible like an attorney looking for evidence of what it actually says. One of the most famous attorneys of our time did just that. The Christian holy book comes undone on its own terms, that is, without resorting to things Christians could argue are "non-biblical."

(Bugliosi does not limit himself to Christianity, but also makes observations about Buddhism, Islam, Judaism, and Hinduism at minute 32:20. He misspeaks to suggest that the Buddha might have been an agnostic or atheist when in fact he was a non-theist, which means he said whether or not there are gods is not relevant to saving oneself from suffering).

No mention is made of the Gnostic gospels or New Age material. This is not an atheist attack, nor is it one sect of the religion against another. Instead, all of the information comes from bonafide biblical texts themselves (New Testament, Old Testament, Hebrew, English, Protestant, Catholic, and Greek).

Famed attorney discusses what the Bible really says with KPFK's Sonali Kolhatkar.

Conservative prosecutor and Christian agnostic Vincent Bugliosi is best known for successfully prosecuting Charles Manson and writing the best-selling book Helter Skelter, which went on to sell over 7 million copies, becoming the biggest selling true-crime book in publishing history.

He is also the author of Outrage on the acquittal of O.J. Simpson, and more recently The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder. Bugliosi has won 21 out of 21 murder cases and 105 out of 106 felony cases. He spent the past two years working on his new book Divinity of Doubt: The God Question.

On April 12, 2011, Bugliosi spoke with Uprising host Sonali Kolhatkar about his new work, Divinity of Doubt. Atheism? No. Freewill? No. Virgin birth? No (according to the Bible, see video at minute 48:30). Darwin was an agnostic. Einstein believed in some kind of God, not a Judeo-Christian kind, but some kind. Bugliosi outdoes them both by diving deep into the Bible, which comes undone as we have misinterpreted it. Christians frequently say it says one thing when, in fact, it says the opposite.
