All around the planet hundreds of millions of people are waiting for events to unfold in 2012. Many believe these events will bring either the birth of a harmonious new reality as the Age changes. Is it the dawning of the Age of Aquarius or the end of the world?
But what if those events were actually taking place THIS YEAR, 2011?
The new film "The Quickening" explains why so many people have been experiencing the sensation that "time is speeding up," particularly since the earthquake in Japan. It shows the research that indicates that this accelerated experience of reality could peak sometime around October 28th, 2011, culminating in a global experience of unity consciousness, leading to the experience of a harmonious new way of being in the world.
The movie also looks at unfolding events directly relating to Hopi and Mayan prophecies. These indicate that we are on the cusp of great changes that mark the shifting of the Age and the birth of a new world.

Happy Birthday, Columbus (video)
For the World to Live "Columbus" Must Die
Russell Means, Program #MEAR003, recorded in Denver, CO on April 27, 1992

Another's hope, another's game
Another's loss, another's gain
Another's lies, another's truth
Another's doubt, another's proof
Another's left, another's right
Another's peace, another's fight
Another's name, another's aim
Another's fall, another's fame
Another's pride, another's shame
Another's love, another's pain
Another's hope, another's game
Another's loss, another's gain
Another's lies, another's truth...
Marx had an idea from the confusion of his head
Then there were a thousand more waiting to be led
The books are sold, the quotes are bought
You learn them well and then you're caught
Another's left, another's right
Another's peace, another's fight
Mussolini had ideas from the confusion of his heart
Then there were a thousand more waiting to play their part
The stage was set, the costumes worn
And another empire of destruction born
Another's name, another's aim
Another's fall, another's fame
Jung had an idea from the confusion of his dream
Then there were a thousand more waiting to be seen
You're not yourself, the theory says
But I can help, your complex pays
Another's hope, another's game
Another's loss, another's gain
Satre had an idea from the confusion of his brain
Then there were a thousand more indulging in his pain
Revelling in isolation and existential choice
Can you truly be alone when you use another's voice?
Another's lies, another's truth
Another's doubt, another's proof
The idea born in someone's mind
Is nurtured by a thousand blind
Anonymous beings, vacuous souls
Do you fear the confusion, your lack of control?
You lift your arm to write a name
So caught up in the identity game
Who do you see? Who do you watch?
Who's your leader? Which is your flock?
Who do you watch? Who do you watch?
Who's your leader? Which is your flock?
Einstein had an idea from the confusion of his knowledge
Then there were a thousand more turning to advantage
They realised that their god was dead
So they reclaimed power through the bomb instead
Anothers code, another's brain
They'll shower us all in deadly rain
Jesus had an idea from the confusion of his soul
Then there were a thousand more waiting to take control
The guilt is sold, forgiveness bought
The cross is there as your reward
Anothers love, another's pain
Anothers pride, another's shame
Do you watch at a distance from the side you have chosen?
Whose answers serve you best? Who'll save you from confusion?
Who will leave you an exit and a comfortable cover
Who will take you oh so near the edge, but never drop you over?
Who do you watch?

The Native Americans of Tibet (Summer Pasture)

"Summer Pasture" -- or "Nomad's Life" -- portrays the story of a Tibetan family at a crossroads.
Husband Locha and wife Yama question their future as nomads as they spend their summer in eastern Tibet's Zachukha grasslands. It is an area known as Wu-Zui or "Five-Most," the highest, coldest, poorest, and most remote county in Sichuan Province, China.
Due to the growing pressures of modernization, the couple has to now face the challenge and have their lifestyle reshaped. Directed by Lynn True, Nelson Walker III, Tsering Perlo.
What do Tibetan nomads have to do with Native Americans? They are the same people, who thousands of years ago crossed the Bering Straits to seed the Eskimos and other indigenous Americans.
The planet and human life on it are far older than conventional anthropology concedes. But this field is contradicted by archeology, common sense, spiritual records, and mythology.
The similarities between Native Tibetans and Native Americans are so striking as to be painfully obvious. A trip to Ladakh, India or among the Hmong, Karen, and other native mountain tribes of Asia makes it perfectly clear.
"Summer Pasture" puts on display shocking "coincidences" or clear parallels rooted in a common historical family? The usual answer, however unlikely, is that sometimes similar circumstances lead to similar independent solutions. That may be. The consistent shamanistic traditions of people around the world furthermore suggest the reality of spirit worlds.

The Truth About Titans, Giants (video)

There is a growing body of fossil evidence that is hidden away -- except in Central and South America and a jaw and enormous artifacts in the US. Quayle's book LongWalkers explores the story of a fresh redheaded giant with extra digits and two rows of teeth brought out of Afghanistan by the US military.

- Buddhism speaks not only of asuras but also nagas (which can mean reptilian or any massive creature), cannibalistic cave and forest-dwelling ogres (yakkhas), and hungry "ghosts" (pretas and bhumma-devas) who are often chimeras (crossbred animals from bestial acts).

UFO sightings point to other Earths, ET life

The Roman poet Lucretius believed in “other worlds in other parts of the universe, with races of different men and different animals.” Ancient Native Americans -- who settled this region of the central Oregon coast at Stonefield Beach -- also pointed to “another Earth” in the sky.
Leaders in astrobiology, who have studied the “native peoples” in this region, said they believe a true Earth twin might be revealed “soon.” In his new book Strange New Worlds: The Search for Alien Planets, renowned astronomer Ray Jayawardhana, a professor and Canada Research Chair in Observational Astrophysics at the University of Toronto, states that the discovery of other Earths will “trigger paradigm shifts not only in science but also in many other human endeavors, from the arts to religion.” More

Ancient American Archeology (Edgar Cayce)

...Despite the claims of archaeologists, the history of ancient America put forth in Edgar Cayce’s readings has never been tested. Edgar Cayce, America’s famous “Sleeping Prophet,” gave 68 “psychic readings” between 1925 to 1944 that provided information on America’s Mound Builders and ancient American history.
These readings have never been thoroughly analyzed and have been largely forgotten. For the first time, Cayce’s statements about ancient America are genuinely compared to current archaeological evidence.
The authors relate that they began with a skeptical point of view but the weight of the evidence eventually showed Cayce’s accuracy. Incredibly, nearly everything Cayce related about the Mound Builders and the patterns of migrations to ancient America is true.
Since 1997, a series of astounding developments have shattered American archaeology’s most cherished beliefs. Excavations have uncovered solid evidence that ancient America was probably settled at least 50,000 years ago.
Genetic evidence shows that several waves of migrations came into America from not only Siberia, but also from Polynesia, China, and Japan.
A mysterious genetic type has been identified in ancient American skeletal remains as well as in some modern Native Americans. This enigmatic type is also linked to Israel, parts of Spain, France, Italy, and the northern Gobi Desert. It may well have originated in a location between America and Europe. This genetic type entered America in about 10,000 B.C. and could be the result of migrations from the mythical land of Atlantis.
Another genetic type could be from the mythical land of Mu. More

What's it matter that there were/are giants?

History Mysteries: Giants roamed the American western plains
Terrence Aym (Hellium)

At one time a much more ancient race roamed the plains and deserts of pre-Columbian America. The evidence of their existence and their passing is related in Native-American folklore, the logs of world-famous explorers, and their desiccated bones -- now carelessly strewn about the sites of their ancient communities.
Others, like the Aztecs and Mayans, recorded their encounters with a race of giants to the north when they ventured out on exploratory expeditions. More

Bigfoot was here maybe (Giants for certain)

That was enough to pique my curiosity. In Willow Creek, we headed to the China Flat Museum to meet the curator of its Bigfoot exhibit, Al Hodgson.
Now 87, Hodgson carries his adoration for all things Sasquatch on his sleeve, showing me around the vast collection of unreasonably large casts of footprints (one of which Hodgson made in nearby Bluff Creek, site of the only known filmed Bigfoot "sighting"), as well as schooling me on the history of "sightings" in and around Willow Creek and the hoaxes.
Yes, tricksters have strapped on giant wooden feet and traipsed around the mountains in them.
Levelheaded Hodgson explained the main signs of the big guy's existence: a woven nest of sticks and leaves, an amazingly horrid stench, piled rocks, twisted tree limbs, and massive tracks.
Itching to get into nature, we drove along the aptly named Bigfoot Scenic Byway, which meanders along the Trinity and Klamath rivers, sinuously inching past peaks blanketed with verdant trees, yellow fields, and dramatic lupines. For nearly 80 miles this byway took us as far from civilization as you can get in California without hiking into the backcountry.
We continued through the Hoopa Valley Indian Reservation, the largest in California, and home to people who believe the high country is sacred and should not be entered by anyone but the most revered [shamanistic California] medicine men. More

Summer Solstice! (Stonehenge/Colorado)

LONDON (AP) — A damp overcast morning has failed to deter thousands of people gathered at Stonehenge to celebrate the summer solstice.
Around 18,000 neo-pagans, new agers, and curious visitors gathered Tuesday in heavy rain to watch the Sun rise over the ancient stone circle on the Salisbury Plain about 80 miles (130 km) southwest of London.
The celebrations are a modern twist on solstice celebrations that were a highlight of the pre-Christian calendar.
Police say the event was good natured, but 20 people were arrested for drug and public disorder offenses.
Stonehenge was built in three [major] phases [and lots of tweaking] between 3000 B.C. and 1600 B.C. It is one of Britain's most popular tourist attractions with over 850,000 visitors a year. More
