Evidence for the Yeti or Abominable Snowman tumbles in from Siberia (RT.com)
We have gotten a flood of comments sharing news stories that Yetis (yakshas in Buddhist cosmology) and Bigfoot exist.
It was only a matter of time before the powers that be and "official" science gatekeepers (journal editors, faculty committees, funding approvers, etc.) relented in the face of mounting modern evidence.
Never mind the centuries-old evidence handed down among indigenous people all over the world. Maybe there's still a chance, maybe this story can still be buried. No "civilized" person believed in the existence of mountain gorillas until a century ago, and most of the world still has no idea what a bonobo is as they are quickly pushed to extinction.
Public relations campaigns have been orchestrated to dismiss and ridicule reports for decades. It does not take much to seed doubt and ridicule. Governments have known for a long time about Bigfoot, other monsters, and alien visitors. But we sleep well in the Matrix not knowing about such things, which could bring us closer to the truth and take us farther from capitalist-consumer-wage-slavery.
Within a Hair of Bigfoot RT.com The Russian Academy of Sciences has said it is highly likely that the Bigfoot really exists. Experts came to the conclusion after carrying out a microscopic analysis of hairs believed to belong to the yeti found in the Kuzbass region of Siberia.
In early October, professors from the USA, Canada, Sweden, Estonia, and Russia came to the Kuzbass region to look for evidence that would prove the existence of the Bigfoot. The trip was not in vain -- footprints apparently belonging to the yeti were found dotted all over the inside of the Azass cave where the creature is thought to live.
The follicular evidence was found stuck to a huge footprint on the cave’s clay floor. Professors from Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Idaho Universities got themselves a couple of precious hairs each to do the necessary research. The hairs turned out to be identical to ones that allegedly belonged to a Californian yeti, another from the Russian Urals, and a third from the Leningrad region, writes Komsomolskaya Pravda.
The first to make the fantastic discovery was Prof. Valentin Sapunov, a member of the New York Academy, St. Petersburg Scientific University -- a geneticist and biophysicist.
“In St. Petersburg the hairs were examined through a special microscope,” said Valentin Sapunov. “This is a complicated, but a very efficient method. The hairs were sprayed with a chemical composition, and then various slices of the hairs were examined. This gave us an opportunity to draw comparisons between the hairs of different biological species,” the professor explained. More
All around the planet hundreds of millions of people are waiting for events to unfold in 2012. Many believe these events will bring either the birth of a harmonious new reality as the Age changes. Is it the dawning of the Age of Aquarius or the end of the world?
But what if those events were actually taking place THIS YEAR, 2011?
The new film "The Quickening" explains why so many people have been experiencing the sensation that "time is speeding up," particularly since the earthquake in Japan.
It shows the research that indicates that this accelerated experience of reality could peak sometime around October 28th, 2011, culminating in a global experience of unity consciousness, leading to the experience of a harmonious new way of being in the world.
The movie also looks at unfolding events directly relating to Hopi and Mayan prophecies. These indicate that we are on the cusp of great changes that mark the shifting of the Age and the birth of a new world.
Chrononauts travel to and from the brahma world naturally (Tiada/Flickr).
Time travel will be discovered in approximately the year 3050 by a man named Taatos. He is the Hermes of ancient Egypt and the very first "chrononaut" (time traveler). Prior to his actually traveling back in time, holographic images were sent into the past.
This is why the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, Romans, and others described "visions" by their oracles, soothsayers, and psychics.
[Today we have physics as well as visitors from the future. So while 2012 will continue to be a time of upheaval, just as is being experienced right now, it will only be the end of an age, not at all the end of the world. Except, one may suppose, it will be the end of the world as we know it. But that has happened many times before in cyclical samsara characterized by restless anicca.]
We can summarize the characteristics of time travelers as follows:
They have mastered hyperspace travel between dimension, and can move through walls and solid objects.
By existing in the fifth dimension, they can observe us and remain invisible.
Genetic manipulation of our chromosomes is a routine procedure for them. They have greatly sped up our rate of evolution.
The origin of these chrononauts is Earth from 1,000 to 3,000 years in the future.
Their main purpose is to accelerate our spiritual growth.
Maitreya, the Buddha of the future, now residing in a space world called Tusita (Tiada/Flickr).
THEY ARE US IN THE FUTURE
We do not have to be abducted to talk (telepathically) with time travelers. It is simply a matter of using the Fifth Dimensional Travel exercise that I present here.
The first time traveler I met in hyperspace (the fifth dimension) was a pure human calling himself Traksa. He lives in the 36th century on Earth when time travel is manifested by way of teleportation. [See Nature Physics article below showing how this is already taking place experimentally]. This means that Traksa can beam his physical body back to our century without requiring a spacecraft.
[This is time and again mentioned by Shakyamuni Buddha who, while not traveling through time to the best of our knowledge, traveled through hyperspace to reach the Brahma Worlds at will in the body. Arhats such as Ven. Maha Kassapa were able to do so just as easily. Since it is all in the NOW, the only time we ever have, it is not much of a stretch to imagine that time is no more real than the illusion of samsara, the wheel of rebirth. But it certainly is our reality until we break free.]
Time travelers use names that represent their current mission. One of Traksa's assignments consisted of introducing me to Art Bell [of Coast to Coast fame]. If you spell the time traveler's name backwards, it reads "ASK ART"! I have had the pleasure of being interviewed by Art nine times. Good work, Traksa.
On the left: Janine Cooper is an artist and a friend of mine. I hired her to paint portraits of the chrononauts I described in Time Travelers From Our Future. Janine got her inspiration from her own subconscious, not from photos or movies. Traksa told me that he telepathically directed her in each of the portraits, especially this one -- Traksa himself. [So Star Wars and every other sci-fi series are right: whites survive into the future. Or perhaps Traksa's characteristically Caucasian features demonstrates that space beings seeded DNA and racial features near the Caucasus Mountains in the first place by descending Mt. Sumeru in ancient Sumeria and at other times in the past.]
The actual photographs of Traksa and the three other time travelers groups presented in my book Time Travelers From Our Future.
Traksa has told me that there are many time travelers around today. They do not hold public office or place themselves in positions of attention. Their function is to be in the background, spending most of their time in the fifth dimension so we cannot see them. In order for us to be able to see a time traveler, they must slow down their frequency vibrational rate (FVR) and enter our three-dimensional world. It is only then our physical eyes will be able to see them.
Here are some of the other chrononauts I have met in the fifth dimension:
MUAT - Traksa's supervisor. He was active in Mu (Lemuria) and Atlantis and is from the 40th Century.
NIREV - 31st century - Focused on the Industrial Revolution
ALSINOMA - 34th century -Tutored Da Vinci (creator of the Mona Lisa)
CHAT NOY - 50th century -Assisted in the development of time travel. His name stands for "tachyon."
Chrononauts are spiritual people. They follow us from lifetime to lifetime, tracing our souls [continuity of process, identity, consciousness stream] back to previous lives and monitoring our spiritual unfolding. Their ultimate purpose is to facilitate the perfection of the human soul to allow for ascension and the end of the karmic cycle.
There are also future problems -- wars, pollution, infertility -- in this and parallel universes that they are trying to avert by assisting us now in our spiritual progress.
As we grow spiritually, so do they. They are us in the future.

It must be 3050 (again), because it's already starting:
Experimental quantum teleportation of a two-qubit composite system
Qiang Zhang1,2,Alexander Goebel1,Claudia Wagenknecht1,Yu-Ao Chen1, Bo Zhao1, Tao Yang2, Alois Mair1, Jörg Schmiedmayer1,3 & Jian-Wei Pan1,2 (Nature Physics2, 9/17/06) Abstract: Quantum teleportation1, a way to transfer the state of a quantum system from one location to another, is central to quantum communication2 and plays an important role in a number of quantum computation protocols3, 4, 5. Previous experimental demonstrations have been implemented with single photonic6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 or ionic qubits12, 13. However, teleportation of single qubits is insufficient for a large-scale realization of quantum communication and computation2, 3, 4, 5. Here, we present the experimental realization of quantum teleportation of a two-qubit composite system. In the experiment, we develop and exploit a six-photon interferometer to teleport an arbitrary polarization state of two photons. The observed teleportation fidelities for different initial states are all well beyond the state estimation limit of 0.40 for a two-qubit system14. Not only does our six-photon interferometer provide an important step towards teleportation of a complex system, it will also enable future experimental investigations on a number of fundamental quantum communication and computation protocols3, 15, 16, 17, 18.
(thefilminformantt, Now Playing, Sept., 2011) Buddhist cosmology speaks of devolutions and evolutions and epochs of quiescence and chaos, after Earthlings descended from space (Aganna Sutra), genetic manipulation (usually by nagas in a kind of creationism or celestial intervention), and always more revolutions through the aeons (kalpas in an Indian context of yugas).
US teachings about Evolution vs. Creationism
How things turn and have turned may only seem comprehensible as envisioned in the Wheel of Samsara, the "continued wandering on" or cycling through rebirths (due to our skillful and unskillful karma) in countless worlds within 31 Planes [broad categories] of Existence.
But for all that, we still get excited that our mobile device (cell phone) connects us to the Web and lets us tune in and drop out by feeling "connected." Tiffany Shlain is onto something: We are interdependent.
"Thousands of years ago the gods [devas] came down to Earth from the stars to initiate a genesis. Human civilization was formed and reached a peak [one of many] with Atlantis. A Dark Age began, and the battle of Atlantean gods led to its fall. A secret brotherhood brought Atlantean secret teachings before the fall to Egypt. Through all civilizations and with inspiration from extraterrestrial guards, the secret Atlantean brotherhood managed all political systems with an educational mission. This thrilling documentary shows for the first time the secret activities of a brotherhood in relation with invisible masters from Shambhala and Agharta [the opening to our hollow planet] and the secret about the hollow Earth."
A Buddhist Genesis
(Aggañña Sutra, DN 27, sacred-texts.com) O, Vâsetthâ, there is a season, at vast intervals in the lapse of time, when this world is dissolved. And upon the world's dissolution, the inhabitants are mostly brought together in the space world of the radiant. And there they dwell for a long, long time, mind-made, feed[ing] on joy, self-resplendent, traversing the sky [space], and abiding in goodness.
Again, there is a season, at vast intervals in the lapse of time, when this world is re-evolved. And upon the world's [re]evolution, people disappear from the host [company] of the radiant and come down hither [to this planet]. And they are mind-made, feeders on joy, self-resplendent, traversing the sky, and abiding in goodness. [And so] do they dwell for a long, long period.
Now at that season there is gloom and darkness universally: moon and sun are known not; stars and constellations are not known; nor night and day, nor month and fortnight, nor seasons of the year. Women and men are known not, but people say: "Sentient beings only are considered." More
TRANSLATOR'S NOTE: Since my translation of the Buddhist Genesis document appeared in the January Monist, I have found that Rockhill rendered it from the Tibetan in 1884. (Life of the Buddha and Early History of His Order. Translated from the Tibetan. By W. Woodville Rockhill. London, Trübner's Oriental Series, 1884). I had known this book for years, but it escaped me when making the Genesis translation and also in my Buddhist Bibliography (London, 1903). In Rockhill's volume the Genesis document comes at the very beginning. Like the Sanskritized Prâkrit version used by me, it belongs to the Vinaya Pitaka. The Tibetan Canon is that of the sect of Realists (Sarvastivada), whose account of the compilation of the Scriptures was translated by Suzuki, also in the January Monist. There are two versions of the Genesis document in the Tibetan Vinaya Pitaka: A short one in the Vinaya-vastu (corresponding in part to the Pâli Mahâvaggo), and a long one (translated by Rockhill) in the Vinaya-Vibhâga (Pâli Bhikkhu-Vibhanga). The Theravâda sect, who have handed down the Pâli Tripitaka, do not place this document in the Vinaya, but in the Sûtra Pitaka. Thus do we prove the truth of the Island Chronicle of Ceylon, which says that the Realists, the Great Council, and many other sects, made recensions of the Canon to suit themselves. We must never forget that the Pâli, though the oldest version of the Canon known, is by no means the only one. The Mahâsamghika (Great Council) school also claims to be the oldest, and their Book of Discipline has come down to us in a fifth-century Chinese translation. Suzuki also gave us extracts from this, and we saw therefrom that they had no Abhidharma. This looks as if their Canon belonged to an earlier period than the Pâli, for the Abhidharma was in the nature of commentary, and was compiled after the Buddhists had split up into sects. We know that one ancient sect, the Sautrântikas (i.e., Sûtra-men) refused to admit the canonicity of the Abhidharma and were content with the Sûtra-Pitaka. Moreover, the Great Council sect not only tabooed the Abhidharma, but they also had a very short recension of the Fifth Nikâya. This collection, known as the Khuddaka (Short) in Pâli, was called the Miscellaneous Pitaka by other sects, and consisted largely of commentaries. The Great Council refused to canonize these commentaries, but admitted into it only the Udâna, the Itivuttka, and the Nidâna. It is high time that Japanese scholars translated the books of this early rival sect, which may yet be proved to be older than the Pâli.
Can other primates communicate? Of course they can. As humans we want human-style communication and ignore how widespread and diverse communication is all around us -- between plants, between species, between sentient beings and inanimate objects, between dimensions, between modalities, between minds and hearts...
Is language uniquely human? Not at all. We originally got ours from "above" (space) and have developed and debased it into innumerable tongues ever since. (Sadly, they are being lost at an alarming rate!)
This world is not for humans alone; there are classes of unseen beings of a higher order here. There are also other very visible ones, who are less morally developed (as a general rule, not in every specific instance). And they can learn Sign Language and other ways of communicating.
A new documentary features Nim Chimpsky [a chimpanzee whose name mocks Noam Chomsky, who said it teaching it language could not be done because that was unique to humans] and what he was able to accomplish.
Bonobos are so genetically similar to us that it is not accurate to regard humans as a separate class. It may be that we are but another genetically-altered hominid or great ape group. However, attached and identifying with our bodies, we find it hard to bear this scientific possibility (mymodernmet.com).

The Chimp That Learned Sign Language
(NPR, 2008) Back in the 1970s, a chimpanzee named Nim Chimpsky took part in a Columbia University research study called "Project Nim."
Project Nim was led by Herbert Terrace, a psychologist at Columbia who was attempting to find out if a chimpanzee could learn to communicate using American Sign Language.
"Everyone knows that words are learned one at a time," but something happens when children begin to combine words and create true language, Terrace says. The question, he says, was, "Could Nim do this?"More

Circumcision (Male Genital Mutilation or the removal of the most sensitive part of a man's body, equivalent to the female's clitoris) should not be performed on helpless children using either religious, moral, or even preposterous medical excuses.
Who can believe that Mother Nature, Evolution, a Creator God, or naga geneticists accidentally left this small bit of protective skin on males?
What a wonderful thing that it is available for adults to choose if they buy the medical industry's scare tactics, self-interested studies, or line of reasoning. But to force it on males out of fear or our own discomfort with human sexuality and even direct mention of sex organs and erogenous zones.
If our protective sheaths were left in place, we might preserve sensitivity and not be prone to excess. And what is the real reason for excising a very special type of ultra sensitive skin? Jewish-Christian religious nonsense -- yet nowhere do biblical sources say to mutilate infants. That is simply an expedient means of fulfilling another command.
Fortunately, San Francisco and Santa Monica have the foresight to pass legislation in favor of common sense and against religiously sponsored elective surgery. Is it all simply an aesthetic thing by now? If so, the Western world will soon get used to the natural look. The current look will still be on full view with every erection and from those who fearfully opt for surgery.
Male circumcision opponents propose ballot measure in Santa Monica: A group called MGM Bill wants to make it illegal in Santa Monica to perform a circumcision, even for religious reasons, on minors. The group placed a similar measure on the Nov. 2011 ballot in San Francisco. Performing a circumcision on a boy under age 18 -- even for religious reasons -- would be illegal under a measure that a San Diego group hopes to place on Santa Monica's November 2012 ballot. A similar initiative this month from the anti-circumcision group known as MGM Bill garnered enough signatures in San Francisco to place it on that city's November ballot. MGM stands for "male genital mutilation."
San Francisco could ban male circumcision: A controversial new measure could make it onto the ballot in San Francisco in November: city resident Lloyd Schofield says that he's "on track" to gain enough signatures for his proposed measure, which would make it illegal to perform circumcision on males below the age of 18. The act would be a misdemeanor carrying a $1,000 fine. Schofield is claiming that this is a human rights issue, in part because the city has already made female circumcision illegal. Needless to say, it has angered some San Francisco residents. The Anti-Defamation League, the local Jewish Community Relations Council, the Board of Rabbis of Northern California, and the American Jewish Committee condemned the measure, saying that they were "deeply troubled by this initiative, which would interfere with the rights of parents to make religious decisions for their own families."More

Buddhist eschatology, as subscribed to by some Buddhist schools, derives from purported Gautama Buddha's prediction that his teachings, the "Dharma," would disappear after 5,000 years.
According to the discourse collection (Sutta Pitaka), the "ten wholesome courses of conduct" will disappear. People will follow the ten unwholesome courses of action -- bad karma that includes murder, violence, theft, sexual misconduct, false speech (perjury, divisiveness, abuse, and idle talk), greed, ill will, and delusion.
Greed manifests as perverted lust and rapacious craving for resources resulting in skyrocketing poverty and the end of compassionate behavior born out of the true Dharma.
How long would the Buddha's teaching last? Signs of corruption were evident in the Buddha's time (e.g., old Subhadda held wrong views, DN 16, 6:28) span of time was expanded to 5,000 years.
Commentators like Ven. Buddhaghosa predicted a step-by-step disappearance of the Buddha's teachings: During the first stage, enlightened beings would no longer appear in the world. Later, the content of the Buddha's true teachings would vanish and only their form would be preserved. Finally, even the form of the Dharma would be forgotten.
During the final stage, the memory of the Buddha himself would be forgotten.
The last of his relics would be gathered together in Bodh Gaya and cremated. Some time [one school says millions of years, another thousands] following this development a new buddha will arise.
The decline of the Dharma (the core of Buddhism) in the world, its disappearance, and its eventual re-establishment by another buddha are in keeping with the general shape of Buddhist cosmology.
Buddhism like Vedic Hinduism teaches that there are cycles of evolution and destruction over the aeons, of which the present epoch represents only the latest step.
The historical Buddha Shakyamuni is only the latest in a series of supremely-enlightened teachers (buddhas) that stretches back into the past. (The Buddha named 29 of these buddhas).
The belief in the decline and disappearance of the true Dharma -- the teaching that successfully leads to enlightenment and nirvana -- in the human world has exerted significant influence in the development of Buddhism since the time of the Buddha.
In Vajrayana Buddhism and various other forms of esoteric Mahayana Buddhism, the use of tantra is rationalized as justifiable by the degenerate state of the present world.
The East Asian belief in the decline of the Dharma (mappo in Japanese) was instrumental in the emergence of Pure Land Buddhism. Within the oldest Theravada Buddhist tradition, debate over whether nirvana was still attainable in the present age helped prompt the creation of the Dhammayutt Monastic Order in Thailand and more importantly as various popular lay Insight-Meditation (Vipassana) movements such as Goenka.
In China, Buddhist eschatology was strengthened by the Taoist influence: The messianic features of Maitreya are widely emphasized. The figure of Prince Moonlight obtains prominence unknown in Sanskrit sources. So one of the T'ang Dynasty apocrypha predicts his rebirth in the female form, thus creating religious legitimacy for the Wu Zetian Empress's usurpation. Making more Taoist associations, the "Sutra of Samantabhadra" portrays Prince Moonlight as dwelling in a cave on Penglai Island.
Buddhist cosmology speaks of incredibly long cycles. During these, the lifespan of human beings lengthens and shortens according to collective human conduct (karma). In the Cakkavati Sutra the Buddha explains the relationship between the lifespan of human beings and behavior. According to this discourse, in the distant past unskillful behavior was unknown among the human race (Aggañña Sutra, DN 27).
Humans devolved from celestial, space-traveling beings (devas). As a result of their generally skillful behavior, people lived for an immensely long time -- 80,000 years -- endowed with great beauty, health, pleasure, and strength. Over time however they began behaving unskillfully. This gradually shortened average lifespan to 100 years, where it now stands. But this is cyclical. It will continue to go down along with human morality until it is 10, with girls reaching sexual maturity at the age of five.
Ultimately, conditions will deteriorate to the point of a "sword-interval." Swords will be wielded by human beings, who will hunt one another. However, a few people will take shelter in the wilderness to escape the carnage. When the slaughter is over, they will come out of hiding and resolve to take up a life of skillful and virtuous conduct again. With the recovery of virtue, the lifespan will gradually increase until it again very gradually reaches 80,000 years, with girls attaining sexual maturity at the age of 500.
According to Tibetan Buddhist literature, the age of the first Buddha (28 buddhas ago) was 100,000 years, and his height was 100 cubits. But the 28th buddha, Siddhartha Gautama (563-483 BCE) lived 80 years, and his height was 20 cubits.
(Sklarm) How to make vegan pizza (including crust) video tutorial
Spotlight: In our irregular series on Wisdom Quarterly readers, we focus on one of our remarkable followers.
THE VEGAN (Lyn Rose)
Beautiful vegans are nade not born. It's never too early to become compassionate and steward for the environment. The Judeo-Christian Bible never really gave us "dominion" over animals and nature, so much as entrusted us with stewardship over them, which means that humans in line with their divine potential are caretakers of this planet. The Buddhist attitude towards nature is even clearer: We are not simply a part of nature, and we are never apart from it, but at every moment we are interdependent with everything around us. The sooner we recognize it, the closer we approach the mystical state of non-duality, perceiving only the interconnectedness of all life, animate and inanimate. "When I change, the world changes." Buddhist need not join the World Vegan Society or grow vegan kids, because caring enough to at least go vegetarian on lunar observance days (quarter, new, and full moon days) is a great thing. Observing "Meatless Mondays" is enough. Going halfitarian, simply eating twice as much healthy animal-free foods than we do now, is enough.
One answer comes from famous JuBu (Jewish-Buddhist) and all around scientist Albert Einstein:
"A human being is a part of the whole called the 'universe,' a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts, and feelings, as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of... consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in all its beauty. Nobody is able to achieve this completely, but the striving for such achievement is in itself part of the liberation and foundation for inner security."
