Maitreya watches from a world in space called Tusita. NASA claims to have discovered a double-solar system. But Earth itself is experiencing this anomaly in the sky. Explained away by disingenuous defenders of science. We are not "rational" beings, as we claim, but rationalizing beings.

We will not believe our own eyes when what they see does not suit our preconceptions. We will struggle against artifacts that do not fit our limited view of the world -- leading to denial, thought policing, and the rise of Defenders of the Faith within scientific fields.

We worship at the altar of Science and revere cryptic men in white lab coats and dare not question the strange things they tell us if two or more of them agree (peer reviewed consensus-reality constructing).

Yet, this is what "scientific" circles are reduced to, chasing grants that support a status quo only corporate entities could love. Michael Cremo exposes the phenomenon in his book Forbidden Archeology. But who pays attention?

There cannot be two suns in our sky. There is no Comet Elenin (until we say there is). No new planetary body is being photographed in our solar system. There are no massive crafts approaching from space. Eat chips, drink Kool-Aid, and tune out by tuning to TV. The Fall Season shows are about to start, and the CW racy this year.

Many have heard of the upcoming entry in our inner solar system of the comet Elenin. There is a range of ideas and speculations about what this entails. Comets have always been seen as harbingers of auspicious or ominous tidings.

Ideas have been suggested that it is in fact a brown dwarf star or even a massive spacecraft, whose entrance is causing earthquakes on the planet. Regardless, in the fall, two comets (Honda and Elenin, to be followed by Levy), will arrive creating a sequence of celestial bodies in the skies.



The comet Elenin, which has received the greatest attention, is estimated to be closest to Earth from October 16 to 20, 2011. This is close to the midpoint of the seventh day of the Ninth wave (or Universal Underworld) in terms of the Mayan calendar.

This is right before the true 13 Ahau culmination date of the Mayan calendar (October 28, 2011). In spite of the specific nature of the comet and its role, it is an End Time phenomenon. The comets will arrive against the background of deepening global political and economic chaos produced because world institutions are inconsistent with the incoming "unity consciousness" of the Ninth wave.

This demands a study of how Elenin is related to various End Time prophecies. In The Mayan Calendar and the Transformation of Consciousness (2004) I wrote:

“At least some minor earth changes may thus result from the high frequency change in consciousness that we are now undergoing. But the reversal of cause and effect to generate a doomsday view where such earth changes are presented as the very purpose of creation is untenable. Any possible physical effects should be seen only as by-products of the consciousness field, and most climatic change will still probably be caused by carbon dioxide emissions rather than some purported insidious divine plan for the destruction of the earth through geophysical changes.” More

The Vedas [India's ancient scriptures] said that the star Venus looks like fire with smoke. The star had a tail [a flying serpent], dark in the daytime and luminous at night. This luminous tail, which Venus had in earlier centuries, is mentioned in the Talmud: "Fire as hanging down from the planet Venus." Described by the Chaldeans, the planet Venus was said to have a beard. "Beard" is used in modern astronomy in the description of comets.

The Mexicans called a comet "a star that smoked." What was the illusion of the ancient Toltecs and Mayans? What was the phenomenon, and what was its cause? A train large enough to be visible from Earth and giving the impression of smoke and fire hung from the planet Venus.

Venus, with its glowing train, was a very brilliant body. Therefore, it is not strange that the Chaldeans described it as a "bright torch of heaven" that "illuminates like the Sun" [a second, lesser sun]. They compared it with the light of the rising Sun.

At present, the light of Venus is less than one millionth of the light of the Sun. "A stupendous prodigy in the sky," the Chaldeans called it.
